Control de versiones para Flash

Hoy he estado pensando en un esquema para trabajar con una metodología de control de versiones para formatos diferentes a los que tradicionalmente manejamos los programadores, como puede ser el caso de herramientas gráficas, de animación, sonido y otras. Los formatos que se manejan en estas aplicaciones generalmente son binarios y dificultan el seguimiento de cambios individualizados.

Iniciando este análisis quisiera arrancar con Flash y CVS. Lo ideal en este caso es que cada proyecto maneje sus archivos en un repositorio, excluyendo las animaciones "compiladas" en archivos .swf. Lo recomendable sería entonces incluir las animaciones .fla, los scripts externos .as, proyectos .flp e incluso las imágenes externas incluidas en las animaciones.

En este campo queda mucho por avanzar. Sería bueno que estas herramientas implementaran mecanismos que las integraran a sistamas tipo CVS. Y si estos mecanismos ya existen, sería bueno que yo los conociera :-)

A comeback

After many years, I am coming back to my technology blog, to share some knowledge with the community. Today I found something not well documented on the web, so I will post an article about it: provisioning resources to massively integrate AWS CloudWatch Logs and Loggly leveraging AWS CloudFormation. Philips DVP5100K/78: Mi nuevo juguete

¿Qué es? Es un player de DVD realmente excelente. Tiene capacidad para leer formatos tan diversos como: DVD, VCD, SVCD, audio CDs, CDs con MP3/WMA, Kodak picture, JPEG... hasta aquí todo normal. Además, también reproduce formatos MPEG-4 y DivX en CD y DVD. Ya he quemado algunos DVDs con hasta 6 películas; o temporadas completas de una serie de TV en un solo DVD. Y, emulando capacidades de formatos como DVD, se puede tener películas DivX (extensión .avi o .divx) con subtítulos seleccionables en varios idiomas (extensiones .sub, .srt y otros). La locura. Admite cualquier tipo de CD o DVD en el mercado (hablando del medio físico). Y también se puede hablar de soporte futuro a nuevos formatos, ya que tiene la posibilidad de actualizarse.
